Crinoids are assigned to the phylum Echinodermata, a group of radially symmetrical marine animals, such as the starfish, sea urchins, and brittle stars. Crinoids are commonly referred to as "sea lilies. This plate shows three Traumatocrinus hsuixi from the Triassic, an unusual period for crinoids. There are very few Triassic crinoid localities in the world. The original of this specimen was found in the Falang Formation, Guanling Province, China.
