From the Hell Creek Formation, Cretaceous Age of Montana.

TRIONYX is an extremely rarte soft-shell turtle. Complete articulated specimen such as this one are EXTREMELY RARE. This specimen is from the Hell Creek Formation, Cretaceous Age of Montana. Trionyx is a soft shelled aquatic turtle which still lives today but dates back to the Jurassic age. Modern trionychid turtles are found today in North America, Africa and Asia. This specimen is a replica of the original specimen. It shows the ventral or bottom view of the turtle.
